Chloe was born with type 1 diabetes, but our sweet girl never let that get in the way of her dreams and aspirations in life. She was very smart, sweet and silly, in addition to being a talented and beautiful singer. Chloe was attending her first year of college at Coe in Cedar Rapids, working toward her degree in elementary music, when the worst thing happened; Chloe died unexpectedly as a result of her diabetes. Our little girl (standing only 5'1" tall) with a giant voice was suddenly gone from our lives. Knowing that Chloe was always willing to help out anyone at any time, we were not surprised to find out that she was a registered donor. Chloe wanted to continue to help people after her death, so her wishes were honored through cornea and tissue donation.
